Juventus salary/playing time ratio this season: Reglova leads DV9, Oponda David tops six

The Italian media calciomercato listed Juventus's player salary and playing time cost-effectiveness rankings this season based on statistics. Zheglova has the highest cost, and Yildiz has the best value for money.

Juventus is still one of the clubs with the highest player salary expenditures in Serie A. This summer window has slightly improved in this regard compared with last season. The Bianconeri's total annual salary reached 123 million euros (before tax), an increase from 109 million euros last season, when the club implemented a significant salary cut. Juventus still ranks second in the league salary rankings, second only to Inter Milan (141.5 million euros).

Salary/Playing Time Cost-Performance Data

Although Dusan Vlahovich leads the team's salary list with an annual salary of 12 million euros (including bonuses), which is almost twice that of second-placed Jonathan David (6 million euros), the situation is different if the player's cost per minute of appearance is calculated.

Based on the ratio of salary to playing time so far in the 2025/2026 season, although Vlahovich is still at the forefront, he is not the least cost-effective player.

New aids occupy the top of the cost list.

Data analysis clearly shows that the summer new aids currently cost the most per minute: Gerrova only played 80 minutes due to physical problems, and the cost per minute is as high as nearly 8,000 euros.

The top eight with the lowest price/performance ratio also include Oponda, David and Joao Mario. All summer window new signings are ranked in the bottom ten (including Conceicao), which shows that they have indeed encountered difficulties in integrating into the team system-Joao Mario and Oponda have not yet established themselves, and David is facing state adjustment problems.

Yildiz is the most cost-effective

Yildiz ranks last in this list (that is, the most cost-effective). The reason is obvious: relative to his importance in the team, his salary level is significantly low. The Turkish genius has not yet renewed his contract. His current annual salary is only 1.5 million euros, which is one of the lowest salaries in the team, but he ranks among the top in playing time. Juventus only paid 320 euros per minute for him to play.

The issue of contract renewal has therefore become the focus of the club's work. The management is well aware that it needs to provide the No. 10 player with a new contract that is consistent with his status.

Ranking of Juventus players' cost per minute

(Note: Miretti and Cabal, who played less than 50 minutes, were not included in the statistics due to injuries. The calculation method is to divide the three-month total salary by the number of minutes played. The statistical period is from mid-August to mid-November 2025)
