Turkish media: Galatasaray suspends Sommer s transfer negotiations and wants to find better players
According to the Turkish media Fanatik, Galatasaray has temporarily suspended the introduction of Sommer. Galatasaray reached a consensus with head coach Okan Brooke that introducing the 36-year-old Sommer is a viable option, but he is not the club's first choice. Galatasaray hopes to sign a more ideal goalkeeper, so he decided to let Sommer wait for a while, although the two sides have reached an agreement on a contract to 2026. The club's senior management will make the final decision after meeting with other goalkeepers. If they cannot reach an agreement with other players at that time, they will restart negotiations with Sommer and formally contact Inter Milan to finalize the transfer.
