I hope this will be a competitive derby on the court, but it should be kept calm off the court. It is okay to joke with each other and mock opponents, but it will be bad if it causes violence. Violence will only kill football.

What do you think of Lazio coach Sarri?

Sarri and I respect each other, after all, we have been in a fight for many years, and we all know that we will face a difficult opponent. It was great to meet him in this derby, and I hope to bring a great game to the fans and show the tactical philosophy of me and him.

Roma has 2 wins and 1 loss in Serie A this season. What do you think about this start?

This will be a difficult and more balanced season. I'm happy with the work we've done over the past two months, and I've built connections with the players, which is very important.

Have you adapted to life in Rome?

I need to experience the city and the environment here better because I was focused on my work before, and now I will start to feel other aspects. After 9 years of coaching in Atlanta, it is wonderful to face a new challenge. There are new players here, and the tactical ideas I bring to you. I will try to practice my philosophy in Rome, and of course, I will make some adjustments based on the new requirements of football.
