As I said, Serie A is more difficult than other leagues and has a complicated tactical system. My first season was not easy. I had to learn when to sprint, when to wait, how to defend one on one, plus I always trained hard and Allegri helped me improve both personally and as a team.

You almost left this summer, but now you have become a key player of the team. How do you feel?

Honestly, I never thought about it that way. I set a lot of goals at the beginning of the season and never thought about anything else.
