In the last round of the World Cup qualifying group match on Sunday night, the Italian team lost 1-4 at home to Norway. Italian defender Di Lorenzo emphasized after the game that the team must now show a different mental outlook in the next three months to prepare for the play-offs in March.

Di Lorenzo said about this defeat in Rai's interview: "We started well in the first half, and we were a little relaxed in the second half. They played with their strength."
