Clippers official: Ballmer and the team have not evaded the salary cap and have long stopped cooperating with the company involved

TA reporter Pablo Torre broke the news on a podcast show that Clippers star Leonard is suspected of signing a Yin-Yang contract with Clippers boss Ballmer.

The Clippers' official issued a statement yesterday to respond to the matter: "Mr. Ballmer and the Clippers have never evaded the salary cap or engaged in any misconduct through Aspiration, and any objection can be proved to be false."

"The team terminated its cooperation with Aspiration as early as the 2022-23 season because Aspiration failed to fulfill its obligations. Before the government launched an investigation, neither the team nor Mr. Ballmer knew of any misconduct by Aspiration or its co-founder."

"The team and Mr. Ballmer are ready to assist the law enforcement department in their investigations within their ability."
