Times have changed! De Gea: Nowadays, young players hardly say hello and don t respect people as much as before

In an interview with YouTube show Cronache, De Gea talked about the intergenerational changes in the football world.

You have worked with different stars in different locker rooms. Are you feeling pain when you experience generational changes?

"I was young when I first arrived in England and hardly talked to people. But I witnessed two different eras, the relationship between players is the most changing aspect of football, which is a fairly serious thing for me. When I was a kid, I would say hello first when I came to the locker room, and if someone talked to me, I would respond, otherwise I would remain silent and listen to older players and not bother them."

So, I try to talk to everyone and help them as much as I can, and I hope to be a role model both on and off the court."
