Official: Pharmaceutical U19 coach Lunger serves as assistant coach of Jurmand, and Meyer, who joined this summer, stays at the position

On Tuesday local time, Leverkusen officially announced the coaching team of new coach Jurmand, including Rogill Meyer who joined this summer and former U19 coach Sergi Lunge.

Leverkusen officially announced that in Yuermand's coaching team, Rogill Meyer and Serge Lunger will serve as assistant coaches. Meyer joined Leverkusen this summer and is now continuing to serve as an assistant coach. Spanish coach Lunger, who previously coached the club's U19 echelon, was promoted to the first team coaching staff.

Andris Urdlink and Alessandro Schumek will leave the club. Campos Vazquez will continue to serve as head of physical fitness.

Analytical assistant coach Marcel Dowm and analyst Simon Lackman will continue their fruitful work at Leverkusen, who are an indispensable regular member of Leverkusen’s coaching team along with goalkeeper coach David Till.

This Wednesday, Jurmand and his coaching staff will lead his team for his first training at the pharmaceutical factory and prepare for the team for a Bundesliga match against Frankfurt on Friday.
