Mayor of Milan: Sale of San Siro requires approval from the city council. I will vote in favor when voting in September

In an interview, Milan Mayor Sara said that the sale of San Siro also requires approval from the city council and results will be available in September.

The Milan Municipal Government plans to sell the San Siro Stadium and its surrounding areas to two clubs, Milan and Inter Milan, for the construction of a new stadium. Mayor Sarah said: "In September we will see what will happen. We have to pass the approval of the city council because transactions involving public property must be approved by the city council. (For Sale) San Siro is one of my goals and although not the most important, I have been working on it for many years for dignity." Mayor Sarah went on: "Initially we considered a lease transfer and then tried the renovation plan, and now we are trying for sale. I want to continue to push this initiative out of dignity, but it must be approved by the city council. From my personal point of view, I want to have a clear conscience, do my best to do my job well, and then see if politics will support it."

Finally, Mayor Sara said: "As someone who often travels around the world and is curious about the world, I noticed that big cities often have new stadiums. But the San Siro Stadium is not new, but I said that because I know it will cause controversy. Times are changing, we have to push for change, Milan is a city that is constantly changing. So I will vote for it and vote for it in the city council, and then we will see what will happen."
