Marca: La Liga convened a players association meeting on the 24th to discuss details related to Miami’s overseas games

The Spanish media "Marca" reported that La Liga convened the Spanish Football Players Association to hold a joint committee meeting on the 24th to discuss all the details of Villarreal vs. Barcelona to be held in Miami on December 21.

In a document signed by Tebas and sent to the union president David Aganso, Tebas promised to "meet players in person or remotely throughout the day on the 24th (Friday) to maximize their participation."

In the same document, Tebas convened a joint committee meeting on the 24th, with the following agenda: "Information and statement of responsibilities (promotion, logistics, commercialization and authorization matters) regarding the initiative to hold official matches in the United States."

"The 15-second silence at the start of the match initiated by the Spanish Football Players Association is inconsistent with the constitution and supervision. On the other hand, La Liga asked the Spanish Football Players Association in its letter to "refrain from taking any further actions that may invalidate the purpose of the collective bargaining agreement itself," referring to the sit-in protests planned by the players at the start of each game that day.
