Foden: I like Dybala during Juventus’s period, & often watch him play football. I am always grateful to Guardiola

Manchester City will have a warm-up match with Palermo in Italy. Manchester City midfielder Foden was interviewed by "Sports Milan" during this period and talked about multiple topics.

What are your impressions of Italian football?

"When Dybala was still at Juventus, I liked him very much. He was a very talented player. I often watch him play football. As for Serie A, I have some attention, but it is not enough to say that he has a team he supports."

One of your best memories at Manchester City is against an Italian team. You defeated Inter Milan in the Champions League final. "My deepest memory of that game was the moment Rodri scored and the moment the ball scored. That was definitely the most wonderful moment since I put on Manchester City jersey."

De Bruyne has now transferred to Serie A and has become one of the heavy signings in Italian football. What do you think Italian fans can expect?

"He is a world-class player and can always do incredible things on the court. It is precisely with his wonderful assists that we have won multiple Premier League championships and he can provide all-round help. He is a good person on the court and off the court, the leader who uses his performance to drive the team. He is not the kind of person who will shout loudly, but when the team is at a disadvantage, he will stand up, carry the team on his shoulders and bring it back to the game. I think Italian fans will enjoy watching him play very much."

Among Manchester City's new players this summer, Reindez, who joined the Serie A team Milan, will leave you?

"I was impressed by him since the first training class. He is a dynamic and all-round player. He can do a lot of things, and he has demonstrated his excellent passing ability and has given a lot of assists in the Club World Cup. He really left a great impression on me."

How is your relationship with Guardiola?

"It's been very good from the beginning. He brought me into the first team at the age of 16 and gave me a chance. I will always be grateful to him."

Why is Guardiola considered the best coach in the world?

"His attention to detail is incredible. He can see what we can't see, even other coaches can't see it. He has always had a desire to do his best every day and will inspire us to work the same way."
