Five violations may be dismissed! World Sports: Spanish Sports Council reviews the removal of Tebas
Sports sources revealed that the Spanish Senior Sports Council (CSD) is considering a request for removal of La Liga president Tebas, put forward by Miguel Garland, chairman of the Football School Coaching National Center (CENAFE). Garland accused Tebas of leaking financial information from Club Barcelona. Garland announced on social media that 93 Barcelona club members have supported his move. Garland submitted a written request to the CSD and its chairman Uribe, asking for the removal of La Liga President Tebas for violations of five serious violations under Article 76.2.a of the Sports Act promulgated on 15 October 1990". Previously, Garland also pointed his finger at the past presidents of the Spanish Football Association. According to the CENAFE Chairman, Tebas is suspected of serious violations because he failed to comply with the confidentiality regulations regarding the Barcelona club's accounts. The first violation occurred on April 2, when La Liga officially announced that it would not approve a VIP box transaction worth 100 million euros, which was allowed in December last year. This decision is based on the results of the Barcelona Club's own audit report. The second serious violation was the subsequent removal of relevant information from the website, which was an action taken after receiving a complaint from Club Barcelona. In fact, it was precisely because of the protests made by Club Barcelona to La Liga that the latter removed the relevant information from its official website. However, the club did not report the matter directly to CSD, but the CENAFE chairman reported it. The third violation involved Tebas and Athletic Bilbao meeting on the possible payment of Nico Williams' termination, discussing the financial situation of the Barcelona club. The fourth violation was based on information that Tebas revealed in an interview with the media that Club Barcelona did not comply with the financial fair competition rules. The last violation was because Tebas leaked confidential information in a document sent to CSD on March 28 this year about the Danny-Olmo controversy. Garland believes that Tebas's actions have caused economic losses and reputational damage to the Barcelona Football Club.
