Barcelona official: Gambel Cup will play against Como, the match will be held at the John Cruyff Stadium

According to the official website of Barcelona, the 2025 Gambel Cup will be held at the John Cruyff Stadium on August 10, and the match is Serie A team Como.

Como is an Italian League One team coached by former Barcelona player Sesque Fabregas, and former Barcelona player Sergi Roberto plays for them. They will participate in the 60th Gambel Cup, which will be held at 9 p.m. on August 10 at John Cruiff Stadium. The

match was originally scheduled to be held at Spotify Camp Nou, but eventually John Cruiff Stadium will host the competition.

Before the match against Cuomo, the team will play three friendly matches during the summer tour: they will travel to Japan against Kobe Victory Ship, and then to South Korea against Seoul FC and Daegu FC. The match against Como will also be the last test before the start of the first round of the league against Mallorca on August 16.

This match will be historically significant, as this is the first showdown between Barcelona and Como. The two clubs have a history of 125 and 118 years, respectively, and have never met in formal games or in friendly matches before.

Como was a strong team in the Serie A last season. The team returned to the top Italian football league after 21 years of separation and finally ranked tenth.

Como's advantage is also that it has former Barcelona player, current head coach Seske Fabregas and former Barcelona captain Sergi Roberto. Roberto joined Cuomo in August 2024 after playing for 18 years at Barcelona.
