Atlanta officially announced the appointment of Yulic as the team's new coach, and the two sides signed a contract for two years.

As Gasperini left Atlanta to coach for Rome, the club quickly finalized the new coach. Yulic, 49, was fired by Roma in November last year and went to Southampton to coach until April this year.

Yulic is no stranger to Italian football. He has previously coached teams such as Turin, Verona, Genoa and Crotone.
