Atkame: I can adapt to the four-back or five-back formation, Allegri will help me continue to improve

Swiss right-back Zachary Atkame joins Milan this summer and attends a press conference for his debut in Milan this week.

How did you feel after joining Milan?

We all know the history of this club. I think it's a great club and has great development projects, and these are all very appealing to me. I want to put 100% of my efforts on the team and keep making progress, and I think that's the most important thing. We did a great job in every aspect of our training.

Indeed, the team's left is very good. As for myself, I like to move forward and participate in the offense. I can say that as a team, we worked well on both sides.

What formation and position are you most suitable for?

I used to play four-backs, but I can adapt to both four-backs and five-backs. My personal favorite is to be a wingback in the 352 formation. But I came here to follow the coach's arrangements. If the coach asked me to play as a three-back, I would be ready, and the same would be true for other positions.

What did you feel when Milan contacted you for the first time?

I was very excited, it was a strong emotion. Of course, you have to keep your head clear, but I was really surprised. I came here to work hard. It was about three weeks ago and I couldn't remember the specific date, obviously I was very happy.

What do you think of Coach Allegri?

We did a lot of tactical and defensive work under the guidance of our coach and worked hard to do a good job. We know that defense is very important, and Coach Allegri emphasizes that.

What are your impressions of your new teammates?

I was very impressed by everyone in Milanello, and there are many great players with great experience, so I was very impressed.

Who is your role model player?

I am deeply influenced by Alves and some other right-back players. I believe the Milan locker room is very united, these high-level players are great role models, and I am very happy to play with them.

What are your goals?
