Team Note: Nuggets shouldn t bet on Jokic s peak period on two management newcomers

According to Shams, sources revealed that the Nuggets will appoint Ben Tengze (see below) as the team's vice president of basketball operations and hire Timberwolves executive Jon Wallace as the team's new vice president of player personnel, both of whom will report to their boss Josh Kroenke.

Nuggets' reporter Adam Mares updated the social media, saying: "I admire Tengze (40 years old) and Wallace (38 years old). But the Nuggets should never bet on Jokic's peak period on two newcomers who are in charge of management for the first time. There is no mistake, and time is very tight."

Speaking of both reporting to their boss, Adam Mares wrote: "Wallace (see below) is a basketball industry insider. Tengze is a business and organizational expert. I guess Wallace will be the basketball mastermind behind this plan."
